And COLOR A BOWL

This is the 25th Anniversary of Empty Bowls! Just like with almost everything else, Covid is causing us to change things up this year. And even though it will look a little different, it will still be a LOT of fun! This year, we want you to GET CREATIVE And show our community your vision on a paper bowl. Use your imagination and REALLY go for it.
Here is how it works:
1) Color or design the bowl on this page (you can also print the page by clicking HERE). You can use pens, crayons, colored pencils, torn paper - even fabric scraps or whatever you have around you. Let your imagination go!
2) Return your decorated bowl to your teacher or upload it to our email address. You can do this by scanning it or by taking a picture* and emailing it to: UVEMPTYBOWLS@gmail.com
Make sure that the subject line reads: COLOR A BOWL. Please return your page by February 25th.
PRIZES!!!!! There are no losers in empty bowls activities!! Every page returned will be entered into a RANDOM drawing for a REAL bowl painting kit (glazes and instructions included) that you can paint at home. Each school building will have one random winner, plus one winner from our community category (homeschoolers and anyone else that doesn’t attend one the school buildings in our district**). After completion, the bowl will be fired and returned to the participant later in the spring.
*If you don’t have access to a scanner or smartphone, you can drop your page off at Dan’s Market, The Community Cupboard or Plain Hardware
** This ‘COLOR A BOWL’ activity is open to youth up to grade 12
