Sarah Jane
I am a working artist whose studio practice encompasses installation pieces, collaborative or participatory projects, and sculptural ceramics. In addition, I have served as a university professor, community educator, and gallery director. Two recent projects include curating a traveling art exhibit, What Sustains Us / Lo Que Nos Sostiene; and providing ongoing job training for ceramic artisans in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. For the past four years I have lived and worked at the Grünewald Guild, an intentional community in the Cascade Mountains of Washington state.
MFA, 2008, University of Kentucky
