Kim Clark
Between the years of 2003 and 2011 Kim Clark was ready every January with a large box of her own ready-to-use stoneware soup bowls to donate to the cause of The Empty Bowls Project. This added up to hundreds of beautiful bowls over the years.
Kim loves to volunteer her time and skill also to the pottery students at Wenatchee Valley College, as she assists the instructor by coaching the beginning potters in hand building, throwing, decorating and glazing their wares. She also helps oversee the pottery department’s glazes and the firing of the kilns.
Kim continues to produce her own pottery and to sell it from her home studio near D’Anjou Bakery in Cashmere. In the springtimes she grows organic plants to sell along with her pottery. During the holidays, folks are welcome to stop by Kim’s workshop to purchase gifts.
