I was born and raised in the Leavenworth area. I have grown up a part of Empty Bowls. Iʼve been participating for so long that I have had the privilege to watch the entire program evolve. From a tiny painter, who probably painted more of the table then the bowls, to volunteering, when my mom held the painting in her art studio, to a young adult, who was dragged by her mother, and now as an Auction artist, I am completely excited to give back to the community that gave me so much as a child. It has been a wonderful experience to finally be an artist of the auction bowls.
My mother has painted an auction bowl for as long as I can remember, and empty bowls is such a huge part of what shapes this community. I am honored to be playing such a big role in it these last two years, it means so much to me to be able to give back.
