Linda Claeson

While never formally trained in art, Linda has been involved with making art her entire life. Starting in the 5th grade, she drew and painted her own bird book based on the local birds she found in her community. As an adult, she had an interest in pottery which eventually led her to having a pottery studio of her own for 12 years as well as teaching pottery at the middle school where she was a teacher. Eventually a new interest in gourds caught her attention, and she now spends many hours carving and painting gourd creations. Besides gourds, Linda also enjoys working with watercolors, acrylics and inks.
