Rusty Gibbs

Leavenworth native Rusty Gibbs combines his artistic talent with his creative juices to produce one of a kind art pieces. He paints in a variety of styles, including realistic, impressionistic, abstract, and illustrative. Rusty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in fine art and graphic design from the Northwest College of Art in Poulsbo, WA. 
He became an artist for one simple reason, "It sounded more fun and interesting than any other job." Now, after doing it for 10 years, he has gained a new perspective on what it means to have a creative career. As co-owner of Gibbs Graphics, along with his wife Amanda, Rusty is in an endless cycle of inspiration, conceptualization and creation.
As a prolific muralist, sign painter, and graphic designer, Rusty rarely finds time for personal painting but when he does he enjoys painting in acrylics with loose abstract brush strokes and then he defines realistic images within the composition to create dynamic landscapes.
Rusty's favorite creations are Milo, his 2 year-old son, and another the new baby on the way!
